Mitsubishi Asia Cross Country Rally Victory: A Triumph for the Triton

Mitsubishi has once again proven its dominance with a Mitsubishi Asia Cross Country Rally victory, taking first place at the 30th annual rally held in Thailand from 8–16 August 2025. Behind the wheel was driver Chayapon Yotha, who showcased the Triton pickup’s resilience and performance across grueling terrain.

Race Highlights

The rally tested both man and machine, covering a distance of 2,316 km, with 1,002 km dedicated to Special Stages (SS). Out of 93 participating vehicles, the Mitsubishi Triton powered ahead to complete the rally in 16 hours, 15 minutes, and 12 seconds, securing an outstanding overall victory.

Challenging Terrain, Unstoppable Performance

The course featured rocky trails, muddy stretches, and slippery terrain, conditions that pushed competitors to their limits. The Triton, however, proved unstoppable thanks to:

  • Its robust build designed for durability

  • Exceptional handling in high-speed corners

  • The ability to maintain control on technical muddy routes

Driver Chayapon Yotha praised the vehicle, highlighting the teamwork and flawless performance that made the victory possible.

A Symbol of Mitsubishi’s Strength

This win is more than a racing triumph—it reflects Mitsubishi’s commitment to creating vehicles that can handle extreme conditions while still offering the reliability customers expect on everyday roads.
